My EAD application has been pending more than 90 days.
Just called the USCIS office.
Look like the center it has been sent to is processing EAD's of date: May 03.
So my application is still 2.5 months away.
The agent tells me that I can get an interim EAD, by scheduling an appointment using InfoPass: http://infopass.uscis.gov/index.php
Just posting this since, I had earlier asked about the 90 day rule for EAD's(if you do not get within 90 days, you can get from local office) and everyone told me that .. this rule was dead and buried.

Recently at a temple I saw volunteers requesting people to register with the bone marrow registry. Lots of people were coming forward to register.

Thanks for your reply. We just published the ad a week ago. Is that a big deal to revise now ? It went into computer world and stuff. I am not sure how difficult it would be.
Hence for this matter, I have another employer willing to file my LC this month. But I am thinking since I was not with them when they sent out the ad and requesting wage details, IS this something considered equivalent to LC subsitution if I join them and file my LC with already sent out ad ??

On June 9th, CIS provided the required data to VO. ????
I think what he meant was July Visa bulletin was based on the data DOS had before CIS provides more data to DOS on June 9. if you see the July Bulletin was posted on June 8th , till that time DOS didn't has the info about spill over. Even i think the Dates might move further if not many years, i think it will at least move a bit more.

Are you advertising your Law Office on the message board...????

As core team migth be knowing the solution, Can you please provide us some information whether we should go ahead and file today.
I don't think, anyone other than the USCIS/DOS will know the solution or whatever, at this time, untill the information is published to public. Applying AOS or not should be decided by you and your attorney. Not the core, Guess if the core has the updates that you are looking they might have updated in the home page :) by now...
Well I'm also waiitng to see what would be the updates from USCIS, as my 485 papers are not yet submitted but ready to go and the attorney would make the decision based on how this truns out to be... WSJ article is the one that is updates in various website/blog. Have to wait and see...

well the status quo isn't that bad, is it? Gradually, retrogression will reduce. Now that there is no labor sub, there will be roughly a FIFO system. Plus, no increase in H1B should help the future --- as far as retorgression is concerned. another big plus is that current H1B system is intact. This bill would have driven thousands out of H1B status.

I wonder if anyone noticed that. I am a July 2nd filer and my priority date is not current and long will not be. But I noticed many many LUDS on my I485 and no change in messages. Has anyone noticed that too?
My LUDS: 9/7, 9/11, 10/3(after FP), 12/10, 12/11, 12/15, 12/18.....
I wonder what is happening....

applying for multiple petitions with multiple employers is, as of now, legal. Even if they can track those applications, they can not just reject on the basis of multiple petitions. But, it may be difficult to convince it during the interview..

Dear IV members,
The Design and Publicity work group is an active task force dedicated to creating materials to spread IV's message. We are engaged in creating posters, fliers, Cartoons and Videos, and will also be producing web related material, informational handouts and power point presentations. We are looking for active volunteers with specific related skills to work with us on these projects. If you are working in design/media/advertising etc or simply have design/drawing/writing skills and are interested in being a part of this group, please answer to this thread. We are specifically looking for someone with knowledge of the media/advertising and an understanding of web searches especially google search rankings.
We are also looking for volunteers for media contacts and content creation/analysis (needs good writing and analytical skills), work groups.
If you live in the DC area (or even within reasonable driving distance) and would like to participate in lawmaker meetings, please let us know.
Please also see Pappu's request for a volunteer to work as iv-coordinator in a separate thread.
Remember that we cannot accept anonymous members. All these groups will be privy to sensitive information and we must be able to trust our volunteers. So please complete your profiles so that we can contact you.

Dude, It is only fair to say that your employer is entitled to keep his money, but if you are worried about not having pay stubs to prove your continuous employment then you work it out with your employer, pay back his money and get your salary. I will need to refile I485 application for myself and my wife. It was rejeted in error from USCIS. I have question:
Should I re-file with old fees or new fees? Any one can help me here?

Was you 485 filed initially at VSC and then transfered to TSC? If so you must have received the orignal transfer notice. That should suffice as orignal 485 receipt.
My wife had gone to DMV in fair oaks mall and they had asked her to produce the original I485 and unfortunately we don't carry it. Our license is going to expire next month.
Anybody know what we can do in this situation. Has anybody got a licence recently from VA state.

It happened with me too last year. My h1 extension was denied and the RFE which my lawyer got was missing the reason for denial. When my lawyer called USCIS, they said they will send a new RFE and the very next day my h1 status changed to Approved. I think its just a mistake by USCIS...
